Dell Scott (Kevin Hart) is in need of a way forward. Recently paroled, unemployed, and unable to see his child, fate just landed him the opportunity of a lifetime – taking care of a multi-millionaire named Phillip (Bryan Cranston) who is paralyzed from the neck down due to a paragliding accident.
